The Marin County Child Care Commission will host a Community Meeting on Child Care and Early Education on Wednesday, November 14th, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Dance Palace, 503 B. St. Point Reyes.

Event participants will have the opportunity discuss the state of child care and early education in the county as part of an interactive public hearing, and learn about the 2018 Countywide Needs Assessment, a study implemented every five years to:

  • Identify gaps and opportunities
  • Guide strategies and investments
  • Inform the development of the 2020-2015 comprehensive countywide Child Care Master Plan

Supporting partners include Papermill Creek Children’s Corner, Shoreline School District, First 5 Marin, West Marin Community Services, Marin Child Care Council, Parent Voices Marin, Marin Kids, Marin Promise,  and Parent Services Project.

The meeting is free and open to the public.  Interpretation services to Spanish will be provided, together with child care and light dinner.
