The Child Development and Nutrition Fiscal Services (CDNFS) Office is informing Alternative Payment (AP) contractors of the implementation of Assembly Bill (AB) 1106, which requires the Superintendent of Public Instruction to develop a process to provide AP programs no less than 36 months to expend funds allocated to the program in any fiscal year. The letter attached outlines the timeframe and reporting requirements related to the implementation of AB 1106. Additionally, CDNFS is informing AP contractors of a revised apportionment schedule that will take effect July 1, 2018. Lastly, AP contractors are reminded that other funds sources used to reimburse AP contractors for their over enrollment in 2016–17 and 2017–18 will not be available in 2018–19.
