May 1st  is Worthy Wage Day: a national day of action held annually to raise public awareness of the low wages earned by early childhood educators, the impact the teacher retention crisis has on young children, and the chronic public underfunding for early education.

Our Commission believes that everyday should be Worthy Wage Day! Early Childhood Educators are crucial professionals for our future as they help nurture and shape our youngest minds, ensuring their success, and building the foundation for our communities’ sustainability!
